Agatha Coffeeshop & Deli
(Was called the Corner Store Deli when I made the list initially)
18/09/2023
I've put a reminder in my phone for every fortnight to go to a café so I don't forget. At 2.5 weeks in between cafes this time I think it's working. I'm also finding Monday or Friday after work ideal since I work half days and don't like to over plan my weekends too much. our daughter also gets too restless in the pram now which makes things awkward for café visits.
Another good reason to do my reviews on Monday or Friday is to actually treat myself to a nice meal and hopefully good coffee as well. It gives me a chance to unwind and relax, instead of going home and probably doing housework or something on my to do list.
Let's dive in:
- Coffee look - 1
- Coffee flavour - 0.5
- Price - $5.60 = 0.5
- Pram friendly - 0.5
- Atmosphere - 1
Total: 3.5/5
The coffee looked great and had a little coffee aroma. The foam was velvety and just the right amount. Unfortunately, the coffee flavour does get a bit lost, but from what I can taste it is good coffee.
At $5.60 the price isn't too bad.
Not super pram friendly, but there are a couple of outside tables.
The atmosphere is great, and I had a burger and fresh cooked crisps which were delicious. I think it's worth it for the food. Good quality and reasonably priced.
The day after my last review we went into the city to see the Fantastic Beasts exhibit at the museum. It was fantastic and our daughter was overall pretty good for our first family outing using public transport.
We got through accreditation fine with no recommendation for chances, which to me is unheard of. We must be doing something right.
That weekend I turned 35, got my bee tattoo that I've wanted since I was 30. That night my husband and I went to the Barbie moved and to dinner straight after. Was so nice to have an evening out again. On the Sunday we got together as Moon Dog World for lunch with my family and back home for cake.
Our Daughter is getting more and more confident on her feet everyday. It's hard to believe she will be 15 months this week.
This is my husbands second last week of going into the office 3 days a week. At the start of October he will be down to one employer (thank god) and only working from home. Will be good to see if that gives us all a better balance before he starts university next year.
I will go back to study, it's just a matter of when.
Until next time...
